The Merit 2 from Raleigh is a price point bike that is designed for the on or off road rides. The 2017 Merit 2 comes stock with 700x28c Clement Strada tires, which make for a more comfortable ride and also allowing you to hit those connecting gravel roads. It also comes with a Shimano Claris 2x8 drivetrain and TRP disc brakes. The Merit sport will make those rough rides or the long days in the saddle a bit more comfortable while still providing a great ride from the aluminum frame and fork. The frame features a 12x142 thru axle with a internal chainstay disc brake mount along with a tapered headtube.
